Plenary Session AY 2015 - 2016

The 2016 Senate Plenary "Academic Freedom in the 21st Century: Challenges and Opportunities" was held on March 30, 2016 at noon in the Assembly Room of the William Pitt Union. Keynote speaker Hank Reichman's talk can be read here.

As a lead-up event, the University Senate sponsored an open discussion with Pitt Law Professor Michael Madison on intersections among academic freedom, copyright and publishing, and new media and communication platforms.
